About This Project
In 2008 Lead Architects were appointed by the Catholic Archdiocese as Architects for the upgrade of an existing boarding house on their mission in a rural area outside Durban, Ntshongweni. Our team were shocked by the conditions that prevailed in the boarding house but inspired to transform the facility into a dignified environment for the 200 girls living there. Unfortunately the project was put on hold for a few years due to social unrest but we are very pleased to report that work is currently commencing on the first phase of the project.
