In 2021 we undertook a Masterplan for this Christian Youth organisation in Kloof – a beautiful site on Field’s Hill – North-facing with expansive views over Durban and beautiful established trees. Part of the site is forest-like. The house is a 70s Spanish-revival double-storey home.
The brief for the masterplan was to expand the accommodation for visiting volunteers, add workspaces, a worship space and use the existing buildings as much as possible.
We were brought onto the project by Container World who put forward the funding for the workspaces – in containers.
